Questions
- Do Indian prices include GST?
- No. Prices in rupees are before 18% GST, which is added at checkout and shown on a tax invoice. Add your GSTIN and you can claim the input credit. Prices in other currencies are exports of a service and carry no Indian GST.
- How does the trial work?
- Every plan starts with 14 days free, and no card is needed to start. You are charged only if you choose a plan when the trial ends; if you do not, your account becomes read-only and you can export everything.
- Is it priced per user?
- No, per company. Each plan includes members who can draft and approve. Viewers, your CA or auditor, and the AI agents you connect are free on every plan.
- What does "AI included" mean?
- The briefing, variance explanations and categorisation are part of every plan, up to a monthly number of questions. If you reach it, the AI waits for next month or you move up a plan. The numbers themselves always come from Ledger's engine, never from a model.
- Can I pay in my own currency?
- Each currency on this page has its own set price, and that is the amount you are charged. It does not move with exchange rates.
- How do I cancel?
- Any time, from settings or by writing to billing@character.xyz. Your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. Annual plans are refunded in full if you cancel within 14 days of paying. The refund policy has the details.
- Where is my data kept?
- Your company's financial data is stored and processed in India, on Amazon Web Services in Mumbai. We never use it to train an AI model.
